A Trip to Portland

Tyler and I got to go to Portland for Lee's wedding. I had never been to Portland before so, we decided to make a fun trip out of it and visit not only Portland, but Longview and Long Beach, WA, where Tyler spent a lot of time growing up. It was a really fun trip. Tyler always says how much he loves the Pacific North West. He often talks about memories he has from living there for 1 year in high school and visiting there many times while growing up. I can see why he loves it so much. It really is beautiful!


Both of these pictures are of us looking over the city of Portland.  We spent the first day exploring the city and then we got to meet up with Lee and his fiancé Kirsten for dinner in downtown Portland.

After a few days in Portland, we drove up to Longview, WA, where a lot of Tyler's extended family lives. We stayed with his Aunt and the next day his family took us to Long Beach, where Tyler has so many childhood memories. His whole family was so nice to us!

Long Beach is beautiful! We spent the night in a hotel overlooking the ocean and the next morning, we rode bikes along the beach. It was easily one of my favorite memories of all time with Tyler.

After a few days in Washington, we went back to Portland for Lee's wedding.  At his reception, they had all the guests take a polaroid picture and put in in the guest book. It definitely isn't the best quality picture, but I love it anyways. I love how happy we look in it. This whole trip really was such a fun and carefree time for both of us
